KABUL - KANDAHAR STATE HIGHWAY
The scope of the project was to design, reconstruct and rehabilitate the portion between 317 and 432+000 km of Kabul-Kandahar Road, which is a part of 3300 km of the National Highway Network that was greatly damaged due to troublesome years. It was planned to be reconstructed within a 5-year period. The work included 25 cm thickness of hotmix pavement, expanding the road, infrastructure, superstructure, culvert, structures, traffic signs and markings. The project was carried out by Gulsan-Cukurova Joint Venture.
