CONSTRUCTION of RELOCATION HOMES in DARIBÜKÜ VILLAGE
To compensate for the negative environmental impact of the Kasımlar Dam while contributing to the socioeconomic development of the affected region, a series of programs have been created. Containing both environmental and social mitigation measures, a general framework for resettlement was provided, culminating in the construction of homes for the Darıbükü Village.
Resettlement homes were constructed on an area 600 meters west of the original settlements. These 2-bedroom, 100 square meter new stone homes were built by adhering to the traditional architecture of the region.
