Gok HPP is located in Marmara Region, close to the city of Bilecik/Osmaneli, in order to utilize the energy potential of Sakarya River.

Gok HPP consists of regulator, settling basin, transmission channel, forebay pool, penstock, power house, tailwater channel and power transmission line.

The water collected with the regulator on the Sakarya River at base elevation of 98,70 m and thalweg elevation of 103,00 m is transferred through a 1.560 m long water transmission channel to a forebay pool. After the forebay pool, the water is directed to the 30 m long, 5,0 m dia penstock with a 135 m³/s flow, and finally to the horizontal axis kaplan type turbines at the 99.00 m tailwater elevation level power house.

The energy produced is transmitted by the 2,8 km long power transmission lines of 31,5 kV capacity to the interconnected power system with Pasalar TM.
